Three major U.S. stock indexes extend losses

The three major U.S. stock indexes extended their losses, with the Dow down 1% and the Nasdaq and S&P 500 down nearly 0.7%. Apple (AAPL.O) fell 1.7%, Amazon (AMZN.O) fell more than 2%, Goldman Sachs (GS.N) fell nearly 3%.
