Arkham believes that Tesla's transfer of BTC last week was an internal wallet transfer. At that time, Tesla transferred 11,509 BTC (769 million USD) to seven new wallets, each holding between 1100 and 2109.3 BTC. All the holding wallets received test transactions, and all but one held whole number amounts of BTC. There is speculation that this is a transfer to a custodian, such as obtaining loans with Bitcoin as collateral.
