Cryptocurrency wallet Tonhub has released a Visa crypto debit card that allows customers to pay from their balances with TON and USDT crypto assets.
To get a card, you need to download a mobile application and pass identity verification. The service is available to citizens of the European Union. According to TON Blockchain, in 2025, the product is planned to be expanded to other regions.
The main features of the crypto debit card include support for the SWIFT, Apple Pay and Google Pay payment systems, fast Know Your Customer procedure, and a 1,5% commission per transaction.
According to TON Blockchain representatives, the card allows online and offline purchases, sending fiat funds using IBAN using a cryptocurrency balance, and paying with digital assets with conversion to fiat at the time of payment for goods or services.
TON Blockchain believes that the new tool will make the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the European Union even more active, expanding the circle of users.
It should be noted that in September the number of transactions on The Open Network blockchain exceeded 1 billion.
