Golem is a peer-to-peer decentralized computing network that provides a computing power marketplace, allowing anyone to share and aggregate computing resources by creating a network of shared resources. It aims to provide software developers with an alternative to traditional centralized Cloud as a Service providers (such as Amazon).
On November 26th, Golem Network announced the first batch of projects supported by its ecological fund, including Web3 Pi, a solution to build private nodes through Raspberry Pi, aimed at providing a more economical option for
Ethereum access; Clan, an open-source tool that simplifies Facility Management, easily creates Virtual Private Clouds, and supports software installation and operation on multiple devices; and GameDev Research, which focuses on exploring the potential integration and application of Golem Network in game development. At the same time, Golem also released two Request for Proposals (RFPs). The first is a study on Golem Windows Provider, with the goal of developing an efficient Golem provider for the Windows platform; the second is an open-source guide called Staking Whitebook, which delves into the operational and technical details of Ethereum independent staking.
