Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo purchases 11 BTC, approximately 1 million euros

ChainCatcher reports that the proprietary trading department of Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo has purchased 11 BTC, equivalent to approximately 1 million euros. This is the first time an Italian bank has bought Bitcoin.
