Trump memecoin aims for $100 market cap by Inauguration Day
The recently launched TRUMP (CRYPTO:TRUMP) memecoin has seen a significant surge, with predictions suggesting it could reach a price of $100 by the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump on January 20.
Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, has called for supporters to rally around the memecoin, which has already increased by 130% in just 24 hours.
"More than halfway there,” Hayes remarked as the TRUMP price hovered around $60 on January 19.
He urged the community to celebrate Trump's upcoming presidency by pushing the memecoin's value to “100 Billy” by Monday.
The TRUMP memecoin has rapidly climbed to a market capitalisation exceeding $12 billion, positioning it among the top 20 cryptocurrencies shortly after its launch.
This remarkable growth has drawn attention within the cryptocurrency community, particularly due to its association with Trump.
