On February 18th, it was announced that Berachain has selected institutional-level custody service provider BitGo as its preferred qualified custodian to provide compliance custody support for assets within the ecosystem. At the same time, Berachain has completed integration with the decentralized oracle network Pvth. Developers can access over 850 real-time price data sources on the chain through Pvth Core, covering
cryptocurrency, commodities, and foreign exchange markets.
To reduce the development threshold, Pvth will sponsor 12 key data sources including BERA, HONEY, BTC, ETH, and $USDC for free access by the Berachain ecosystem project. The combination of BitGo's hosting service and Pvth's high-frequency teaching data may lay the foundation for Berachain to attract institutional-level Defi applications, especially for scenarios that require precise pricing protocols such as derivatives and lending.
