Uniswap simplifies crypto-to-fiat transfers via new partnerships

Uniswap (CRYPTO:UNI), the largest decentralised exchange (DEX), has partnered with Robinhood, MoonPay, and Transak to streamline crypto-to-fiat transactions for its users.

Starting February 27, users in over 180 countries can now convert supported cryptocurrencies into fiat and deposit the funds directly into their bank accounts.

The new feature is live on the Uniswap mobile wallet for both Android and iOS users, with plans to expand to the Uniswap web app and browser extension.

According to Uniswap, moving between crypto and cash has been "historically frustrating."

The new integrations simplify this process, allowing users to complete transactions in just a few clicks.

Users can swap supported ERC-20 tokens, including USDC (CRYPTO:USDC) and ETH (CRYPTO:ETH), before withdrawing their converted funds to bank accounts.

The announcement follows the SEC's decision to drop its investigation into Uniswap Labs.

On February 25, the SEC confirmed it had concluded its probe and would not pursue enforcement action against the firm.

Uniswap Labs had received a Wells notice from the SEC in April 2024.

The SEC also dropped its inquiry into Robinhood’s crypto division.

Despite being the largest DEX with $4.2 billion in total value locked (TVL), Uniswap has experienced a 30% decline in TVL since the beginning of 2025, reflecting broader market trends.

Uniswap launched its v4 platform in late January, expanding its capabilities across 12 blockchain networks.

However, the announcement had little impact on Uniswap’s native token, UNI, which fell 5.4% on the day to $7.60 amid broader market declines.

At the time of reporting, the Uniswap (UNI) price was $7.20.
