The GDPNow forecast of the Atlanta Fed shows that the economy will shrink by -1.5% in the first quarter of 2025, which could disrupt the stock market and Bitcoin. The market is now waiting for the Fed's response to the economic headwinds.

- A significant revision to the GDPNow model of -1.5% was made due to a sharp decline in net exports and weakening consumer spending.

- Stocks face profit risks; Bitcoin and crypto assets may fluctuate due to expectations of Fed rate cuts.

- The Fed is balancing between inflation concerns (3% in January) and pressure to stimulate growth, delaying the clarity of rate cuts.
