According to a report by Jinse Finance, Tesla (TSLA.O) investors sent a letter to the chairman of Tesla's board on Wednesday, stating that Elon Musk needs to spend more time on Tesla. They wrote in the letter, "The volatility of Tesla's stock price, the decline in sales, and the plummeting global reputation are all of serious concern. Additionally, many issues are related to Musk's activities outside of his roles as Technoking and CEO of Tesla, including his high-profile role as the architect of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)." They believe Tesla is facing a "crisis," partly due to Musk's "absence" and the board's apparent "unwillingness to act in the best interests of all Tesla shareholders." Investors hope the Tesla board will require Musk to work at least 40 hours a week as a condition of any new compensation plan they might arrange for him.
