ChainCatcher reports, citing Cointelegraph, that Vietnam has announced the launch of its national blockchain platform, NDAChain, which will serve as the core infrastructure for its digital ecosystem.
NDAChain was developed by the National Data Association (NDA) of Vietnam and is operated by the Data Innovation and Development Center of the Ministry of Public Security. The platform utilizes a Proof of Authority (PoA) consensus protocol and is equipped with zero-knowledge proof technology to enhance security. It features 49 public-private partnership validator nodes, with participation from national agencies and companies such as SunGroup, Zalo, and Masan to help maintain network security.
This blockchain network will provide a decentralized trust layer for sectors including e-government, finance, healthcare, logistics, and education. Additionally, NDAChain will support the NDA DID decentralized identity solution for counterparty identity verification and digital contract signing. The government stated that the NDAKey application will enable second-level identity verification, aiming to prevent fraud and digital identity theft.
Nguyen Huy, NDA's Chief Technology Officer, stated that this blockchain will serve as a protective layer for the nation's real-time data and is crucial for the development of the digital society and economy.
