Jinse Finance reported that the Dutch bitcoin platform Blockrise has announced that it has been authorized by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) under the EU MiCAR, allowing it to provide bitcoin-related services in Europe. Blockrise is a “Bitcoin-only” platform and will offer bitcoin-collateralized loans to corporate clients, with a minimum loan amount of 20,000 euros. Clients retain ownership of the collateralized BTC, and it will not be rehypothecated. The company previously raised 2 million euros in a seed round and now plans to launch a 15 million euro Series A round to expand its EU market and credit business.
