CryptoQuant CEO: If someone could deduce private keys from addresses, “no one could do it except North Korea’s Lazarus Group”

金色财经2025/12/01 06:35

Jinse Finance reported that regarding the theft of approximately 44.5 billion KRW (about 36 million USD) in crypto assets from Upbit, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju stated today that the attack method disclosed by Upbit is "almost impossible for ordinary hackers to accomplish." Upbit previously indicated that the attacker may have "inferred the private key" by analyzing user wallet address patterns. Ki Young Ju bluntly said that this type of attack is extremely technically challenging, and if the situation is true, "I suspect that, apart from North Korea's Lazarus, no other hacker group could achieve this."
