Ethereum followed with $115.57M, while Solana, XRP, and HyperLiquid also posted positive flows of $33.49M, $13.82M, and $5.74M respectively.

Ethereum is trading around $2,505 after a powerful recovery, but the latest 4H structure is sending a warning that traders should not ignore. Price recently pushed toward $2,547, then entered a period of consolidation. At first glance this may look like a normal pause after a strong rally. However, the current structure also resembles a potential Head and Shoulders formation, placing ETH at an important technical decision zone. The key question is simple: Can ETH break higher from this structure, or will sellers turn the current formation into a bearish reversal? Potential Head and Shoulders Structure The most important feature on the chart is the potential Head and Shoulders pattern. The left shoulder formed during the initial recovery, followed by a higher peak around $2,547, which can be treated as the potential head. Price then created another recovery area that resembles the right shoulder. This gives the chart a classic three-part structure: Left Shoulder → Head → Right Shoulder However, the pattern is not confirmed yet. The most important level is the neckline. Neckline: The Level That Decides the Pattern The $2,440 area is the key neckline to watch. As long as ETH remains above this region, the bearish reversal remains only a possibility. A strong 4H close below $2,440, especially with increasing selling volume, would provide much stronger confirmation that sellers are taking control. If ETH continues holding above the neckline, the pattern can fail and buyers may attempt another move toward the recent high. Bearish Reversal Scenario If the neckline breaks decisively, the Head and Shoulders pattern could become a bearish reversal structure. The first downside areas to monitor would be around: Support 1: $2,234 Support 2: $2,029 Major support: $1,863 The theoretical measured move of a Head and Shoulders pattern is calculated from the distance between the head and neckline and projected downward from the neckline. Based on the structure shown, the broader measured-move area could bring attention toward the $1,990–$2,000 region. This is a technical projection, not a guaranteed target. But There Was Also an Accumulation Phase One interesting element of this chart is what happened before the major rally. ETH spent an extended period moving sideways around the lower price region before breaking sharply higher. That consolidation can be interpreted as an accumulation phase, where selling pressure was gradually absorbed before buyers gained enough momentum to push price significantly higher. This makes the current setup more complicated. The market isn't simply coming from a random bounce. ETH already demonstrated strong demand during the previous breakout. Therefore, bears still need confirmation before assuming that the entire bullish move has ended. Bollinger Bands Compression Another important technical signal is Bollinger Bands compression. When Bollinger Bands become tighter, it generally indicates declining volatility and a market preparing for a larger expansion. ETH has already experienced a major expansion from its previous consolidation. Now, as price moves sideways near the highs, another compression phase could be developing. The next expansion could therefore become extremely important. A breakout above resistance would favor continuation. A breakdown below the neckline would favor reversal. Volume Confirmation Is Essential Price alone should not be used to confirm this setup. Volume is the missing piece. If ETH breaks below $2,440 while selling volume expands, the bearish Head and Shoulders thesis becomes considerably stronger. If price breaks the neckline on weak volume and quickly recovers above it, the breakdown could turn into a false signal. Likewise, a breakout above $2,547 accompanied by strong buying volume would weaken the bearish setup and suggest that buyers are attempting to regain control. Key Resistance Levels The first major resistance is around $2,547, the recent chart high. Above that, the next important psychological and technical area is around $2,620. A strong close above $2,547 would be significant because it would challenge the potential right-shoulder structure. A move through $2,620 would further weaken the bearish reversal thesis and could indicate that the larger bullish trend is continuing. Key Support Levels The levels I would keep on the radar are: $2,440 — Major neckline $2,234 — First deeper support $2,029 — Important support zone $1,863 — Major structural support The $2,440 neckline is by far the most important short-term level. Above it, the reversal is unconfirmed. Below it, the bearish scenario gains strength. Trend Pivot The current trend pivot can therefore be viewed around the $2,440 region. Above the pivot: ETH retains a chance to challenge $2,547 and potentially $2,620. Below the pivot: Momentum could shift toward sellers, with $2,234 and $2,029 becoming the next areas to watch. This makes the current market structure much more interesting than simply calling ETH bullish or bearish. Final Outlook ETH is sitting at a technical crossroads. The previous accumulation phase created the foundation for a powerful upside move, but the recent price action near $2,547 has introduced the possibility of a Head and Shoulders reversal. The pattern is not confirmed yet. For bears, the key event is a high-volume breakdown below the $2,440 neckline. For bulls, the priority is defending that neckline and eventually reclaiming $2,547. A clean move above $2,547 could invalidate much of the bearish structure, while a confirmed neckline breakdown could open the door toward the lower support zones and the potential $1,990–$2,000 measured-move area. For me, the most important signal isn't the shape alone — it is the combination of neckline + volume + Bollinger Band expansion.
