Bitget to remove the compound interest from On-chain Earn

To enhance product experience and provide more flexible asset management services, Bitget will adjust the interest calculation method for its On-chain Earn product. The compound interest feature for On-chain Earn will be officially removed on February 26, 2026, at 8:00 PM (UTC+8).

1. Adjustment timeline

• Removal time: February 26, 2026, 8:00 PM (UTC+8)

• Interest switch: Starting from February 27, 2026, 12:00 AM (UTC+8), all On-chain Earn products will automatically switch to a simple interest calculation model.

2. Existing assets and earnings handling

Starting from February 27, 2026, 12:00 AM (UTC+8), your total interest will be treated as principal for interest calculation, and will continue to accrue under the simple interest model, ensuring that your asset growth remains unaffected.

3. Important tips

• This adjustment only affects the interest calculation method (switching from compound interest to simple interest) and does not impact the security of your assets or the on-chain APR.

• We recommend that you adjust your fund redemptions and subscriptions based on your investment needs.
