CFD transfer freeze mechanism goes live

To further secure the process of transferring funds from CFD accounts and enhance asset risk control, Bitget will launch a CFD transfer freeze mechanism on May 22, 2026 15:00 (UTC+8). When you initiate an outbound transfer from your CFD account, if the action triggers a risk control review, the funds will enter a pending release status, and the transfer will be put on hold until the review concludes.

1. Supported versions

You will be able to view funds in pending release status on our website once the mechanism is launched.

For app users, upgrade your app to version 2.83.0 or later to view the funds in pending release status.

2. Mechanism details

When you initiate an outbound transfer from your CFD account, if the action triggers a risk control review, the funds will be frozen temporarily and enter a pending release status.

Funds in pending release status will:

Not be included in your CFD account balance;
Not be included in your CFD net equity;
Not be included in the available margin;
Not be available for opening new positions;
Not be included in the transferable amount;
Not be included in the account risk ratio calculation.

Before transferring funds from your CFD account, make sure to pay close attention to your open positions and account risk level, and arrange fund transfers reasonably to avoid any impact on your account risk status due to changes in funds.

3. After the review

3.1 Approved

If the transfer request is approved, the pending-release funds will be transferred to the destination account you've selected.

3.2 Rejected

If the review fails, the funds will be released from the pending status and included in your CFD balance, net equity, and available margin.

4. Notifications

When a CFD fund transfer-out request is successfully submitted, enters review, is approved, or is rejected, the platform will notify you through the following methods:
