This AI-generated cryptocurrency, denoted as APX, has swiftly gained traction in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector and is now listed on several centralized and decentralized exchanges. The developer, known as CroissantETH, utilized OpenAI’s API to integrate ChatGPT into a custom application, enabling it to design and release AstroPepeX, which has achieved an estimated market capitalization of $3.5 million.

How AstroPepeX (APX) Works

AstroPepeX operates on the Ethereum network, leveraging smart contracts to facilitate transactions. The creation process involved directing ChatGPT to form an ERC-20 token following Open Zeppelin standards, using data from the top 10,000 traded tokens on Uniswap. The developer fed ChatGPT with extensive data, enabling it to deploy smart contracts and issue its own token, with the name and other parameters being determined by values generated by ChatGPT in the code’s constructor.

To ensure the authenticity and exclusivity of AstroPepeX, once the contract was deployed, ownership was immediately revoked, and all the tokens, along with 2 ETH, were added to Uniswap for liquidity, making AstroPepeX a product solely of AI with no human intervention. This approach resulted in the creation of 65,000,000,000 APX tokens and 2 ETH added to Uniswap’s decentralized exchange, emphasizing the token’s adherence to decentralization and blockchain principles.
