A single liquidation of tokenized crude oil futures on Hyperliquid reaches $17.17 million
On the Hyperliquid platform, tokenized Brent crude oil futures recorded a total liquidation amount of 46.6 million USD within 24 hours, second only to Ethereum and Bitcoin. The largest single liquidation reached 17.17 million USD, marking the second time in a month that crude oil futures have led single liquidation records on a crypto trading platform. This wave of liquidations occurred after President Trump threatened to take tough actions against Iran, causing Brent crude oil prices to surge sharply and resulting in significant losses for traders shorting crude oil and longing cryptocurrencies.
