Dmail Network will gradually suspend all services, and users must export their email content to other platforms by May 15.Foresight News reports that the privacy-focused email system Dmail Network will gradually shut down all services. The main reasons cited are excessively high costs of decentralized infrastructure (including bandwidth, storage, and computation), making sustainable operations difficult; failure to find an effective payment model or commercial path; the token lacks clear large-scale use cases and a closed-loop economic model; insufficient anticipation of the cooling of the crypto market; operational capacity reduced due to the departure of core team members; and unsuccessful subsequent attempts at further financing or acquisition. Users must export their email contents to other platforms (such as Gmail) via the official portal before May 15. After exporting, they may request account deletion; upon deletion, all data (including emails, NFT domains, points, and associated social addresses) will be permanently erased. After the service terminates, nodes will no longer operate, and emails will become inaccessible.
