Just last week, the Federal Reserve lowered interest rates amid increased employment risks and slightly reduced inflation risks. "Monetary policy is very focused on balancing these risks. To this end, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) has shifted from a slightly restrictive monetary policy stance towards neutrality," said the New York Fed President. Thanks to supportive fiscal policy, "favorable financial conditions," and investments in artificial intelligence, economic growth next year is expected to accelerate to about 2.25%, higher than the 1.5% projected for 2025.
