BP Whiting Refinery submits a revised plan to the union amid ongoing negotiations
To address the strong concerns of the union, management has explicitly stated in its latest settlement proposal that it will withdraw its previous plan to voluntarily lay off up to 42 maintenance technicians. BP said that in this proposed six-year agreement, employees will receive an average pay increase of 13% over the first four years; for the last two years, salary increases will be aligned with the standards set by the 2030 U.S. National Oil Negotiations.

Hungary announces ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products
According to reports, the Hungarian government has issued a new decree banning the import of a variety of agricultural products from Ukraine, including wheat, corn, meat, eggs, honey, and sunflower seeds. Transit goods must comply with strict regulations: they must be sealed with an official seal and leave the country within 15 days. On May 14 local time, Hungary lifted the "state of war emergency," and the country's import ban on Ukrainian grain and other products has ceased accordingly.
