10x Research: Bitcoin May Face a Critical $60,000 Level TestCrypto research institution 10x Research stated on X that factors such as upcoming bitcoin options expirations and concentrated market positions may determine whether the $60,000 level can be maintained or breached in the coming days. The analysis pointed out that the market has not priced in "tail risks," but is instead positioning around "scenarios that are currently unfolding." The current environment is pushing risk assets into a consolidation phase. Position structure, policy uncertainty, and volatility dynamics may impact the market. Market participants need to remain patient and maintain realistic expectations, emphasizing that in the current environment, "preparation" is more important than "prediction."

A Chinese businessman was kidnapped and killed in Turkey, and the suspect withdrew a large amount of funds from his crypto account.Foresight News reported, according to Xinmin Evening News, that a 38-year-old Chinese businessman named Wang was kidnapped and murdered in Turkey. The suspects began following Wang from Istanbul Airport and confirmed that on January 19, Wang dined with a female friend. The investigation found that the woman was constantly sending messages on her phone, and each time Wang looked at her, she would put the phone down. When Wang and the woman left the restaurant and were about to get into a car, four suspects forced him into another vehicle. During the kidnapping, the woman squatted on the ground pretending to be unaware. Several days later, police found Wang's body in a field, with his hands, feet, and mouth bound with tape, and his head severely beaten. The report stated that the suspects had a debt dispute with Wang, stole his phone, and withdrew a large amount of funds from his crypto accounts. The woman colluded with the other suspects to lure Wang, and fled Turkey on the day of the incident. After the other suspects left the country, Interpol issued arrest warrants. Currently, the suspects, including the woman and nine men, have been arrested.

The Federal Reserve to Seek Public Comment on Proposal to Address "Banking Deserts"BlockBeats News, February 24th, the Federal Reserve Board will seek public comment on a proposal to eliminate "banking deserts" where banks refuse to provide services based on reputation risk. The proposal restates the Committee's policy position: prohibiting punitive blanket bank service termination or customer de-risking for engaging in lawful activities or refusing to open an account for them.
Federal Reserve Vice Chair Michelle W. Bowman said, "We have noted troubling instances where banks have refused services, with regulators citing reputation risk, forcing financial institutions to end services to customers based on their political views, religious beliefs, or participation in unwelcome yet legal businesses. Discriminatory behavior by financial institutions based on the above reasons is both illegal and inconsistent with the purpose of the Federal Reserve's supervisory framework."
Last June, the Federal Reserve announced that it would no longer include "reputation risk" as part of bank regulatory examination criteria.
