Web3 wallet MetaMask has partnered with security startup Blockaid to launch a new feature that can issue security alerts. MetaMask desktop users can experience this new feature by selecting and adding the Privacy Preserving Offline Module (PPOM) under MetaMask's experimental settings.

Suspicious fund outflows occurred from its hot wallets on Tron, Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon, and the assets were sold through DEX. The stolen funds were deposited into Tornado Cash or converted into Bitcoin via THORChain before being deposited into Wasabi.
