TRM Labs: The number of hackers will drop by more than 50% in 2023, with total losses reaching US$1.7 billion
According to TRM Labs, the number of hackers will decrease by more than 50% in 2023, with 160 hacker attacks. As of November 2023, the total amount of funds lost due to hacker attacks was $1.7 billion, which is half of the nearly $4 billion in losses caused by hacker attacks in 2022. Specifically, infrastructure-related hacker attacks accounted for nearly 60% of the total stolen funds, with the top ten hacker attacks accounting for nearly 70% of all stolen funds, including attacks exceeding $100 million on Euler Finance, Multichain, Mixin Network, and Poloniex.
