After migrating to Celestia, Manta Pacific saved 99.81% on data usage costs
According to official news from Manta Pacific, the data availability layer has been migrated from Ethereum to Celestia, generating 2.84 million transactions and producing 305.71 MB of data. This has saved a total of $470,560 in data availability costs, reducing the cost by 99.81% compared to using the Ethereum mainnet. Currently, the average interaction Gas fee for Manta Pacific is between $0.02-0.05 USD. The interaction costs in the Ethereum ecosystem are mainly composed of execution, data availability and storage fees, with data availability fees being the highest proportionally. Data availability can help reconstruct Layer2 status and ensure Layer2 security. On December 16th, Manta Pacific became the first Layer2 to use Celestia as its DA layer.
