Grayscale Chief Legal Officer: Trading volume exceeded US$600 million on the first day after ETF approval
Craig Salm, the Chief Legal Officer of Grayscale Investments, stated in an interview that after the spot Bitcoin ETF was approved, the first transaction began at 4:00 am and continued until the market opened. He found that the latest GBTC trading volume exceeded $600 million, which was their entire trading volume from yesterday. Craig Salm said he was watching the real-time trading at NYSE Arca and said, "It's really cool to witness the first day of spot Bitcoin ETF trading with the Grayscale team. It is the culmination of the hard work of all the Grayscale teams."
