There is a flaw in the Harmony pledge contract, an error has resulted in the additional minting of nearly 150 million ONE coins
According to DL News, a flaw exists in Harmony's staking contract, erroneously minting nearly 150 million ONE (approximately $2.2 million) and sending it to 79 user addresses. Aaron Li, who received some of the mistakenly minted tokens, reported this flaw to the team on December 7th and subsequently sold 16.4 million ONE ($260 thousand). Team engineer Gardiner accused Li of withholding information and delaying repairs. Currently, Li still holds some of the incorrectly minted tokens and plans to eventually destroy them to avoid affecting token supply.
