Finschia and Klaytn propose to merge their mainnets and issue a new token
According to official sources, instant messaging application LINE has proposed a mainnet merger with the blockchain project Finschia and the Korean public chain Klaytn. The integrated blockchain will combine Ethereum (EVM) and Cosmos (CosmWasm) technologies to provide a compatible and high-performance network. After the mainnet merger, a new integrated token (temporarily named PDT) will be issued, and holders of FNSA and KLAY will be able to claim this new token. This merger proposes a brand-new token economic model. Approximately 24% of the existing supply will be burned, while the unreleased supply will be permanently removed. The inflation rate after integration will decrease to 5.2%, and a new burning model will be introduced to sustain growth. If approved, there are plans to establish an integrated foundation in the second quarter, launch a new token exchange, complete governance integration, and introduce new business plans.
