Data: As of the fourth quarter of last year, there were 3300 developers in the Solana ecosystem
According to a new developer report released by Electric Capital, the total number of monthly active cryptocurrency developers in 2023 decreased by 25% year-on-year. However, those who have been engaged in this field for a long time showed stronger resilience than before. The number of developers with more than two years of cryptocurrency development experience reached a historical high, with an annual growth rate of 51% over the past five years. Developers who have worked on cryptocurrencies for at least one year increased by 15% year-on-year, accounting for 63% of all monthly active developers. In addition, according to statistics from Electric Capital, as of the fourth quarter of 2023, there were 3300 developers developing on the Solana chain. Since 2020, the number of Solana's monthly developers has increased tenfold while full-time (507%) and single-industry-chain-focused (986%) developer growth in its ecosystem exceeded average levels.
