Theta Network plans to launch the EdgeCloud hybrid cloud computing platform in 2024
Theta Network announced that it will launch Theta EdgeCloud in the first half of 2024, which is the first hybrid cloud computing platform based on distributed edge architecture. The new plan will focus on developing AI use cases, including video, media, and entertainment.
In addition, highlights for the first half of 2024 include the release of Phase One of EdgeCloud, Theta Hackathon Marathon, adoption metrics and subchain statistics updates, support for ecosystem projects, and enhancements to Theta Video API.
Future plans include Phase Two of EdgeCloud, fully decentralized Theta Video API, and Theta Web3 Theater.
In 2025, the full release of EdgeCloud will be realized to achieve collaborative work between community nodes and cloud infrastructure. Theta will continuously update its roadmap to jointly develop the future network.
