XRP price falls as Ripple co-founder hacked
Ripple co-founder and executive chairman Chris Larsen said on Twitter that some of his personal XRP accounts had been subjected to unauthorised access, but eventually clarified that the attack was not aimed at Ripple itself. Blockchain sleuth ZachXBT tweeted early Wednesday morning that hackers stole about 213 million XRP, worth $112.5 million, and laundered the money through the exchange.CoinGecko's data shows XRP has fallen nearly 5 per cent over the past day, and now trades at just over $0.50.
