Hong Kong blockchain insurance technology company MediConCen completed US$6.85 million in Series A financing, led by HSBC Investment Management
Hong Kong blockchain insurance technology company MediConCen has announced the completion of a $6.85 million (approximately HK$53.43 million) Series A financing round. HSBC Investment Management led the investment, with participation from GaoMi Capital, ParticleX, and Forever Investment. It is reported that MediConCen mainly uses the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology to digitize paper-based and manual claims processes. As of now, the company's total financing amount has reached $12.7 million (approximately HK$99.06 million), and the new funds will accelerate its international market, including development in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
