US stock market close: Cryptocurrency-related stocks lead market gains
The US stock market closed on Monday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) down 60 points or 0.16%, the SP 500 index down 0.38%, and the Nasdaq down 0.1%. Cryptocurrency-related stocks led the market gains, with CEX surging over 16% and Marathon Digital (MARA.O) rising nearly 22%. Arm (ARM.O) saw an increase of almost 10%, while Google (GOOG.O) dropped over 4%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed up 0.72%, with Li Auto (LI.O) rising 18.7% after its earnings report, XPeng (XPEV.N) up nearly 7%, and NIO (NIO.N) up almost 5%.
