Tether CEO predicts more funds will increase their holdings of Bitcoin
On February 28th, according to The Block, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino predicted that Bitcoin will increasingly integrate into traditional financial sectors. Interest in the world's first cryptocurrency is growing, including interest from hedge funds, pension funds, and corporations. Ardoino, who is also the Chief Technology Officer of Bitfinex, made these remarks during an online event hosted by the exchange platform on Tuesday with Blockstream CEO Adam Back. During the live broadcast, Ardoino stated that with the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States expected soon, more fund managers will be interested in incorporating Bitcoin into their portfolios. He also mentioned that fund managers are increasingly interested in raising their allocation of Bitcoin in their portfolios to five percent.
