MATR1X FIRE launches the first professional esports event on Web3 - Asia Masters Championship
On February 28th, according to official sources, MATR1X FIRE, the first FPS mobile game in Web3 that received a $20 million financing, announced the launch of the world's first Web3 professional esports event - the Asian Masters Championship. The event is co-organized by GEDA, which has hosted major esports events such as League of Legends, PUBG, and the Asian Games esports. This is the first professional esports event in Web3 history. The MATR1X FIRE Asian Masters Championship is divided into four major regions: Mainland China (hosted by BGA and GEDA), Hong Kong and Taiwan region, Japan-Korea region, and Southeast Asia region. The registration channel for the competition has officially opened (https://geda.gg/). The schedule consists of online qualifiers (March) and offline finals (April). Champions will be selected from each of the four regions during qualifiers; these four regional champions will compete for the overall championship on April 8th to April 9th at the main venue of Web3 Festival in Hong Kong.
The total prize pool for this tournament exceeds $100,000 USD. The champion team will receive an NFT YATC championship trophy with a floor price of 30 ETH. In addition, MATR1X FIRE's global experience server testing has been outstandingly successful; game downloads have exceeded one million with over 455k on-chain addresses. It ranks number one in Web3 gaming sector rankings with its NFT series' total transaction volume surpassing $110 million USD.
With support from top communities and KOLs in Asia, this event will be globally live-streamed through platforms like YouTube,Twitch,and TikTok while also receiving comprehensive media coverage across all channels.
