OpenAI executives refuted the accusations made by Musk in Friday's memo
OpenAI executives refuted the accusations made by Elon Musk in the lawsuit in a memo on Friday, insisting that the company operates independently, is dedicated to benefiting humanity, and has not achieved artificial general intelligence.
Chief Strategy Officer Jason Kwon and CEO Sam Altman stated that Musk's allegations do not align with the actual situation and mission of the company. The memo also acknowledged government inquiries following Altman's dismissal and rehiring last November.
Earlier reports indicated that Musk sued OpenAI for colluding with Microsoft, violating their agreement to use AI technology for the benefit of humanity.
