The latest version of Brave Wallet offers Native SegWit Bitcoin accounts, which provide users with lower transaction fees and improved error detection capabilities. The wallet also supports all significant BTC address formats, ensuring seamless interoperability with other wallets. Brave's decision to embrace BTC comes at a time when the cryptocurrency ecosystem is experiencing a wave of innovation, driven by the growth of NFTs and DeFi applications, as well as increased adoption and regulatory approval. The browser plans to expand its crypto capabilities further by introducing shielded Zcash transactions and support for more Bitcoin account types.
