German commercial bank: Market has a clear understanding of the interest rate paths of the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve for the first time
According to a report from Jinshi, Christoph Rieger, head of interest rate and credit research at the research department of Deutsche Bank, stated that for the first time in over two years, the market has gained a relatively clear understanding of the interest rate paths of the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve. Prior to this, there was an unprecedented shift in the market from concerns about how long terminal rates would be maintained to excitement about rate cuts. With US long-term Treasury yields stabilizing, interest rate volatility in the Eurozone and United States has also fallen to new cyclical lows.
