Investment Firm 1kx Closes $75 Million Funding Round, Raising $275 Million Cumulatively
Investment firm 1kx has successfully raised $75 million in its latest funding round. The company on Thursday closed the first offering of a new oversubscribed closed-end fund in a round that included participation from Marc Andreessen (a16z), Chris Dixon, Accolade Partners and Galaxy Digital. This brings 1kx's cumulative subscribed funds to $275 million since the cryptocurrency bear market began nearly two years ago. The latest recent funding will be utilized to provide technical support and infrastructure help to the extremely large company and token network to promote new user appeal and community service.
