Illuvium has launched an airdrop of ILV tokens worth a total of 25 million US dollars

The Web3 metaverse game Illuvium has announced the launch of a token airdrop event. A total of 250,000 ILV tokens, worth approximately $25 million, will be distributed in this airdrop season. Of these, 50,000 will be used to reward loyal users of the Illuvium ecosystem and the remaining 200,000 will be distributed over a six-month "Play-to-Airdrop" event. The loyalty airdrop will reward users who have participated in the Illuvium ecosystem over the past three years including staking ILV tokens, providing LP liquidity, purchasing virtual land parcels and trading NFTs etc., with distribution set for Q2 2024.

A snapshot was taken at 23:59 UTC on April 14th ,2024 by Illuvium. The "Play-to-Airdrop" event requires users to participate and interact as much as possible in four games within Illuvium including arena battles, virtual world exploration, land development and NFT collection trading etc., with activity points determining the number of ILV tokens dropped. The first batch of 20,000 ILVs will be distributed during Beta testing phase starting at end-April while subsequent public testing is scheduled for end-May whereupon an additional180k ILVs would gradually drop over five months post-official launch.
