Data: NEAR Protocol’s user retention rate is better than its competitors
As reported by U.Today, NEAR Protocol (NEAR) reported a noteworthy community and developer achievement amid major AI announcements. Its core native cryptocurrency was also the best performer over the past seven days. Over the past 12 months, NEAR Protocol (NEAR) has demonstrated the greatest user retention among L1 altcoins. Data provider Artemis said that for this blockchain, the main adoption metric reached 9.53%. All of NEAR Protocol (NEAR)'s competitors have demonstrated lower retention metrics over the long term. For example, Avalanche (AVAX) only had 8.19% of its users on its C-chain return within 12 months, while for BNB Chain, this metric barely exceeded 7%. According to DefiLlama, there are 19 active decentralized financial applications (DeFis) on NEAR Protocol (NEAR), with a total value of $306 million. Over the past week, NEAR Protocol's core native cryptocurrency NEAR was the best performing large altcoin, according to data from Coingecko. Among all top 100 coins, it became the fifth fastest growing altcoin in the past seven days, with a growth of 26%. This NEAR rally can be attributed to the potential for AI integration, which is crucial for the use of NEAR Protocol (NEAR) in this booming field.
