U.S. senators question Biden administration over Russia, other countries using Tether to evade sanctions
PANews reported on April 29 that according to Walter Bloomberg, U.S. senators have questioned the Biden administration about Russia and other countries using Tether to evade sanctions. In a letter to the Treasury Department, the Department of Defense and the White House on April 28, Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts) and Roger Marshall (R-Kansas) expressed their concerns that countries including Russia, Iran and North Korea are relying on cryptocurrencies to evade sanctions.
