zkSNACKs CEO: Wasabi Wallet will continue to operate as a regular BTC wallet
Golden Finance reported that Max Hillebrand, CEO of zkSNACKs, said that the closure of the CoinJoin service was necessary in view of the lack of clarity in the regulation of the cryptocurrency field and the use of privacy-enhancing tools in the United States. Hillebrand also confirmed that Wasabi Wallet, a Bitcoin wallet developed by zkSNACKs that includes the CoinJoin service, will continue to operate as a regular BTC wallet. Users can generate private keys to receive and send Bitcoin. Despite the closure of the CoinJoin service, Hillebrand said that Wasabi's client filtering architecture, Tor integration, and custom coin selection still provide users with important privacy.
