Scalable privacy layer Silent Protocol launches modular L1.5 Ghost Layer on Ethereum
On May 7, the scalable privacy layer Silent Protocol launched the modular L1.5 Ghost Layer on Ethereum. The solution is designed to provide compliant privacy enhancements for public blockchains, suitable for retail and institutional applications. Silent said that Ghost Layer uses a zero-knowledge (ZK)-based system and its proprietary 0VM technology. The implementation of 0VM technology allows Ghost Layer to advance the system status while verifying updates and utilizing the underlying ledger for status verification through zksnarks.
