U.S. stocks open, Dow Jones rises 48 points
At the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 48 points, the SP 500 rose 0.15%, and the Nasdaq opened nearly flat. Disney (DIS.N) fell 8%, and the company's second-quarter revenue was lower than market expectations. Tesla (TSLA.O) fell 1.1%, and the China Passenger Car Association announced that Tesla's wholesale sales in China in April were 62,167 vehicles. Palantir (PLTR.N) and Lucid Group (LCID.O) fell 12% and 8% respectively after the results. Apple (AAPL.O) rose 1%, and the company may soon release a new iPad.
