Blockchain data and analytics firm Chainalysis opens regional headquarters in Dubai
Golden Finance reported that blockchain data and analysis company Chainalysis announced the establishment of its Southern Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Africa headquarters in Dubai. According to the announcement, the analysis company has been "actively engaging" with local government stakeholders to provide advice on practices that promote innovative cryptocurrency industry regulatory development. The regional headquarters will enable the company to support emerging markets such as India, Africa and Central Asia. Nicola Buonanno, vice president of Chainalysis' Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa region, said that the UAE market is at a "critical point" and institutional-scale transfers currently account for the "vast majority" of the country's cryptocurrency activities.
