PANews reported on May 9th, according to CoinDesk, the joke Meme coin Boden, which deliberately misspells the name of US President Biden, surged by 25% on Wednesday after his Republican challenger and former president Donald Trump answered a reporter's question. "I don't like this investment," Trump said at an impromptu press conference held at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. A reporter had previously described BODEN to him and stated that the token has a market value of $240 million.
After reaching a peak of $0.42, the price of BODEN fluctuated. As of press time, it was trading at $0.40, still up about 15% from when Trump made his comments.
Earlier today news came out that Trump announced he is now accepting donations for his presidential campaign in cryptocurrency form.
