Osmosis has launched the v25 upgrade, and is about to destroy 1.3 million OSMO tokens
The Cosmos ecosystem DEX Osmosis official announced that the v25 upgrade has been approved by Osmosis governance and officially launched today. This upgrade includes: · A new feature of auction mechanism at the top of blocks, which will become a new source of income for the protocol; · Destruction mechanism, 1.3 million OSMO tokens will be destroyed shortly after the v25 upgrade; · Activation of smart account mechanism; · And consensus improvements, with a target block time of 2.5 seconds, lower than the current 3-second target etc.
