On May 21, Dune data showed that as of May 2, the number of new addresses added to the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) in May was only 757. In April, the number of new ENS addresses reached 44,590, the second-highest record in the past year. In addition, as of May, the number of ".eth" domain name registrations for ENS has exceeded 23,000, higher than the level in March of this year. Earlier, Vitalik Buterin wrote on X platform: "ENS is our most successful non-financial application, and I don't know why more people don't care about it!"
