Telegram CEO: Telegram Stars to be launched to support applets to accept payments for digital services
Telegram CEO Du Rove said in a post on the Telegram channel that Telegram Stars will be launched, unlike the way payments for digital services are made through applets. Applets can be used to accept payments for digital services with in-app purchases on Android and iOS, and applets such as Notcoin can be used without installation. Developers can use TON to extract Stars via Fragment and can use Stars to further promote apps on Telegram on favorable terms. When users purchase Stars from Apple & Google, a 30% processing fee is charged, but Telegram subsidizes the ads I purchase using Telegram Stars.
